St. Bartholomew's Polyphony Choir UPDATE  FEBRUARY 2020

It's been a quiet start to 2020.....

..... marred only by illness, both seasonal and unexpected. The 'cough' that has been doing the rounds in south London and beyond has been particularly virulent this year, and has struck many of us down. 'Man flu? Bit more than that!!

As we start to come out of the post-Christmas doldrums we look forward to Holy Week and the great feast of Easter. We shall start rehearsing the music on the first Tuesday of February, and I anticipate having the draft music lists ready by the middle of the month.

The February Jigsawyou've had the old quite some time ago; now here's the new! Should be easier......

Latest Forthcoming Dates List

The latest Dates List (dated 12 January) may be found HERE. Unfortunately I missed the provisional Choir Outing date of 14 June off the hard copy of the version I recently issued. Hard copies available from me on request on Tuesdays for those without the facility to print.

St. Bart's Memories No. 33

Father Carolin talking to one Mr. Derek Beecham - who/what was he? There would seem to be a link to the Ringway 2/M23 extension plans that would have blighted most of Norbury back in the late '60s.

Prayers, please

Please remember especially Terry Jupp's sister Susan at this time. We also pray for Choir Member's urgent Private Intention, (which is, please God, soon to be answered), Maria (who hopes to return soon), Veronica's husband Graham and sister Monica, Ken's niece Beth, Mary & Frank Elliott and my Mum & Dad, Sheila and David.
