With no sign of life returning to normal, I continue to live in diminishing hope that we might see each other again at the Choir Party in July if not before.

I have removed the future Music Lists now, as they will need to be revised before we return to an open church. When we do we ought to have a Mass of Thanksgiving (and a glass or two of something!), whichever Sunday of the month it might take place on?!

As we hopefully move closer to regaining some sort of reality back into our lives, I believe we should always be mindful of the Latin wisdom 'Semper ubi sub ubi'.*

I have asked that Mass be said for the intention 'The welfare of members of the Polyphony Choir & their Families'. With love and continuing prayers for you all, and for those closest to you. Please do stay in touch, and stay safe.

Tony x

Prayers, please

What a sad and difficult month April has been:

Prayers, please, for Carole's Mum, Brenda, who passed away after a stroke at the end of a long and lovely life and for Clare's husband Bob who passed away on 21 April, Divine Mercy Sunday. Also for the repose of the soul of David Garnett who sang for quite a while in the Choir some years ago. Please remember them, and their families. Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord..... May their souls, and the souls of the faithful departed.....

Remember also Suzanne's Mum who currently very unwell in a nursing home in Ireland. We continue to pray for Maria's recovery, Veronica's husband Graham and sister Monica, Ken's niece Beth, Mary & Frank Elliott and my Mum & Dad, Sheila and David. With visiting the sick and needy being so difficult at the moment, perhaps an extra prayer or two is warranted.

During these troubled days, here's a simple sheet entitled When Mass cannot be celebrated.

The May Jigsawa a scene recorded by Father Tomasz that we, sadly, never saw on the day. 99 pieces and tricky.
A 'junior edition' of just 20 pieces may be found here.

As most of you will remember from the fabulous spread at our 50th Anniversary Party, Molly's husband, Mark, has his own catering business, Dulwich Pantry. He's currently offering frozen boxes for home delivery, and would be happy to provide you with some really excellent products. Do have a look at his Website, and get in touch with him from the site's Contact page if you feel he can help you out.
